HdBA – The University of Applied Labour Studies of the Federal Employment Agency
The University of Applied Labour Studies of the Federal Employment Agency was founded in 2006. It offers bachelor and master degree courses to students who wish to qualify for labour market oriented professions. These courses prepare students to work in employment agencies in the areas of placement and integration, for work in career guidance and orientation, as well as for related management.
With its programs the university offers internationally recognized academic degrees with an academic structure oriented on current European standards. It received accreditation from the German Science and Humanities Council and is approved by the state government of Baden-Württemberg.
Furthermore, the University of Applied Labour Studies fosters international relationships, offers study visits abroad and collaboration between researchers. Research is mainly focussed on impact and implementation of labour market policy on different levels.
